The Cabarrus County Partnership for Children is soliciting proposals for programs to address identified needs for children ages birth to 5 years and their families in Cabarrus County in fiscal years 2019-21. Applications will be accepted for the following programs:

Attachment Bio-behavioral Catchup
Early Education Liaison will address teacher education in Cabarrus County. This position will serve as a liaison between the community college system and child care facilities in Cabarrus County and be responsible for managing and conducting communications with students concerning their enrollment and retention.
Proposals are especially encouraged that address priorities identified in the 2016 Cabarrus County Needs Assessment – substance abuse, mental health, and obesity.
These programs can all be found in Smart Start’s Evidence-Based and Evidence-Informed Programs and Practices. Level 11 Early Education Certification is required for child care-related activities. For other activities, a bachelor’s degree in a Human Service or related field is preferred. All proposals shall be for a two year bidding term (cycle).
Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2019
Funding will be contingent upon approval of the proposal by the North Carolina Partnership for Children and adequate funding allocation to the Partnership for the 2019-2021 fiscal years
