Annual Report 2023-2024

Connecting purpose, people and place to ensure child well-being.

Annual Report 2023-2024 A message from the Executive Director

Can you believe this year has gone by so quickly? As we celebrate another amazing year at the Cabarrus County Partnership for Children, we are very grateful that we serve in Cabarrus County.

In June, we were blessed with a State Directed Grant from the NC General Assembly and we started many new early childhood programs in Cabarrus County that will impact families, childcare providers, and businesses. Also, the SUN Project developed its own nonprofit and now lives with the Suda Institute. This project took a very long time, but it has and will continue to support mothers and babies struggling with substance use disorder (SUD).

It would take too much time to share all the amazing things we are currently involved in, but during this holiday season, I would like to thank everyone that has supported the Cabarrus County Partnership for Children for 26 years. With the constant support of the community, we have accomplished much, and it is all because of YOU! YOU have made us successful, and we will be forever grateful to all our partners that support our work.

Many blessings during this holiday season,

Ann Benfield
Executive Director
