Early Childhood Education

- Cabarrus County Pre-K Program
- 351 total children
- 29 classrooms
- 155 at Cabarrus Co. Schools
- 28 at Kannapolis City Schools
- 38 Head Start Dual Funded
- 137 at Private Sites in Cabarrus Co.
- 135 child care providers in 25 child care facilities participated in training from Child Care Health Consultants
- 167 child care providers received professional development advising through the Early Education Liaison Program
Health & Early Intervention
- Programs Funded between July 2023 – June 2024
- Emergency Dental Services
- Safe Kids Cabarrus
- 18,185 children received developmental and early intervention services through ABCD
- 379 parents were served with car seat safety checks through 80 events offered by Safe Kids Cabarrus
Family Education & Support
- Programs Funded between July 2023 – June 2024
- 89,270 books were mailed to 8,905 children in Cabarrus County through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
- 38 families received Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) consultations through the Social Emotional Intervention Specialist
Community Outreach

- Emergency Fund
- Provided 31 car seats and 8 child beds to families in need
- Cuddle Up Coat Drive
- Received $1,648.21 in monetary donations to purchase children’s coats in the most needed sizes
- Collected 287 children’s coats, hats, gloves, socks, and underwear to distribute to local children in need
