The Cabarrus Partnership for Children works with local child care facilities, Head Starts, Public Schools, church preschools to improve the quality of care in Cabarrus County.
The Bi-Lingual Preschool will be a licensed full day dual language preschool for children in a quality learning environment to prepare them for success in Kindergarten. Spencer Swain – 704-202-5057
Child Care Subsidy

NC Pre-Kindergarten Program
The NC Pre-Kindergarten Program provides a free high quality pre-kindergarten education for 405 four year olds who may not have been able to access a high quality program to be prepared for kindergarten. Funding is administered by the Cabarrus Partnership for Children, and services are provided in six child care centers, and six Cabarrus County Schools and three Kannapolis City Schools. The Building Healthy Futures program is a multi faceted approach to reduce childhood obesity in Cabarrus County. The program will implement: NAP-SACC, Color Me Healthy, Eat Play and Grow, Healthy Futures in the Kitchen in child care centers. Elizabeth Racine – 704-687-8979
Provide screenings; support to teachers and families; technical assistance to teachers and directors; play therapy; professional development; and inclusion services to support children with challenging behaviors; as well as children with special needs enrolled with typically developing children.
