SUN Bucks (NCDHHS)

NCDHHS is offering a new SUN Bucks program that will provide grocery-buying benefits to qualifying families with school-aged children during the summer months. Benefits can be used to buy healthy food at places like grocery stores, farmers markets, and some online retailers. Qualifying families will receive a one-time payment of $120 per eligible child for the summer.

Cabarrus County Schools

Buses are delivering meals throughout Cabarrus County - Monday through Friday from June 3 to August 1.

Kannapolis City Schools

There will be three open summer feeding sites where anyone 18 years old or younger can receive meals at no cost. These sites are A.L. Brown High School, G.W. Carver Elementary, and the Kannapolis YMCA.
