Cabarrus County Food Resources
Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, North Carolina SNAP (Food and Nutrition Services) benefits are expected to end on November 1, 2025. New benefits will not be issued unless federal funding is restored.
To help support families in our community during this time, we have compiled a list of food resources available to Cabarrus County residents. Please check back often as this list may be updated as resources come available.

Important Information About This Food Pantry
To help support our community during this time, CCM’s Food Program will adjust services temporarily starting Monday, November 3, 2025:
- CCM will provide prepacked nonperishable food boxes to each family. All food boxes will be the same size. CCM will add produce, bakery items, and deli items as available.
- Baby items will not be available during this time.
- Preorders will not be accepted during this temporary period.
The CCM Crisis Center operates a drive-thru pantry from 10am–1pm Monday through Friday for residents of Cabarrus County and the City of Kannapolis. The drive-thru pantry is also available every Thursday afternoon, 4pm–6pm, for working clients.
