    Congratulations to the recipient of the 14th annual Anne Laukaitis Champion for Children Award: April Samples | Investigator, Cabarrus County District Attorney's Office!

    The Anne Laukaitis Champion for Children Award is presented each year to an exeptional individual who is devoted to public service in Cabarrus County and whose leadership qualities have resulted in significant change for the betterment of young children, families, and communities.     • A free program that mails a new book to registered children until they turn 5. Available to children who reside in Cabarrus County and are under the age of 5.
  • Reach Out and Read
    • Prepares Cabarrus County's youngest children for success in school by partnering with doctors who prescribe books and encourage families to read together.
  • Cabarrus County Public Library
    • Connecting residents with information and resources that educate, enrich and empower.

  • NC Infant-Toddler Program
